I was the world’s first Wikipedian at Large, travelling the length of New Zealand 2018–2019.
Supported by a one-year project grant from the Wikimedia Foundation, I travelled 16,000 km and worked with 33 different institutions to train staff, run public workshops, help bulk uploads of images to Commons, and raise Wikipedia’s profile.
